Welcome

Welcome to the website of Thresher Craft, where I share my passion for art and creativity. Here, you can explore my world of 3D-printed animals and figures, meticulously painted with color-shifting pigments that lend each piece a unique and enchanting sheen. These creations are framed to deliver a captivating visual experience. In addition, I offer a wide range of handmade accessories, including fridge magnets, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and brooches. Let yourself be inspired by my art and discover something that’s perfect for you!

Printing

Many of the pieces featured in my work begin their journey on my resin 3D-printer, a tool that allows me to bring intricate designs to life with remarkable detail and precision. Some of the digital models I use are my own creations – however, most of the designs come from other talented artists whose work I admire. I purchase commercial licenses for these files to support their creativity and to offer painted versions of their models as part of my art. This collaboration between digital artistry and hands-on craftsmanship is at the heart of what I do.

Painting

Every piece I create is hand-painted with care and precision, using pigments sourced from all corners of the world to achieve the most dazzling and dynamic color spectrums possible. I mix these pigments myself with a water-based varnish, crafting each shade to bring out the unique details and character of every figure. For my jewelry pieces, I use only cosmetic-grade pigments and varnishes, ensuring both brilliance and safety. This hands-on approach allows me to infuse each creation with a personal touch, making every item truly one of a kind.

Preparing the frames

An important step in my creative process is the preparation of the frames that hold and showcase each piece. For my wall art, I often select printed backgrounds that are carefully matched to the individual figure, enhancing its colors and mood. I cut each background by hand and fit it onto the glass with precision, creating a layered and cohesive look. This stage allows me to shape the overall composition and ensure that every detail contributes to the finished artwork’s unique character.

Epoxy resin backgrounds

Once the background and figure are perfectly positioned and dried, I pour a layer of epoxy resin into the frame to set the piece in place. This step not only secures the artwork but also creates a smooth, glossy surface that adds depth and brilliance to the final composition. The resin cures into a hard, glass-like finish, giving the background a polished look while protecting the details within. It’s a transformative part of the process that enhances both the visual impact and the durability of each framed piece.

Epoxy resin & 3D-printed jewelry

In addition to my framed art, I also create a range of epoxy resin jewelry, each piece designed to be both striking and wearable. Some of these designs feature 3D-resin-printed figures, meticulously hand-painted with food-safe varnish to ensure both safety and shine. I use only jewelry-grade epoxy resin, which encases the pigments in a clear, protective layer. This not only enhances durability but also adds a captivating depth to the colors, allowing the shimmering pigments beneath to shift and glow with every movement.
